I am still on week 2 of Phase I but was looking at the Hodgsonmill.com website and they have a whole wheat Insta-Baking Mix(like bisquick) & a whole wheat pancake mix. Here are the nutritional values and I wanted to make sure I could use these on Phase II. Also, if anyone has tried these, comments? THANKS!! Katie

Hi,
This info comes from the official South Beach nutritionist regarding the insta-bake product:
I was able to find a little more information about the product you asked about. I still could not figure out exactly what it is. I am assuming it is some sort-of a product you add other ingredients to for a finished baked product. Please excuse my ignorance:) Based on what I was able to find on the site, for 1/3 cup it has 150 calories and only 3 grams of fiber. For that many calories, more fiber would be recommended for it to be a good product for the SBD. The reason it has a lower fiber content is because it must contain a little less than half its flour content in refined flour (the same thing as unbleached flour). This product is a "fooler" as it does list whole wheat flour as the first ingredient. Because of the lower overall fiber content from the unbleached flour,
Thanks Cathy, I appreciate your help!
