I have been doing really well since I have started this diet. Today I am making that crockpot cheeseburgers for dinner tonight and I can not keep my hands out of the crockpot! I'm not kidding, I take a spoon here a spoon there!! How am I supposed to deal with food that has that kind of effect on me? Do I stay away from it completely and just eat something else tonight? Do I take it out of my diet and then try adding it later on to see how I do with it? H E L P!! tell me how am I to do with this please...

"Misty.....step away from the crockpot, put down the spoon and put your hands in the air....!!"

I know how tempting it is to taste what's in the crockpot ~ especially that yummy recipe! It sounds to me like you aren't eating enough today. Get ready for an afternoon snack....sit down with it at the kitchen table with a drink and savor it. Have enough to satisfy. Forget the cheeseburgers for now and look forward to a delicious dinner.

Check back in tonight to let me know how you did!

Don't beat yourself up. There are foods we all react to. I don't make the foiods that I can't get a handle on, for the most part. Strange, I have trouble with P'butter but now when i measure, I am doing Ok, also with 15 nuts, not knowing why. Today is a new day, think about all your food accomplishments. There may have been a day you ate more than a few mouthfuls and did not ask for help. Leila

Misty-

Sounds like a good plan- don't serve that dish any more. At least it was a good learning experience, I have a few banned dishes too. Even some SBD foods that I can't keep in the house. A box of sugar free fudgicles is such a temptation to have more than I should!

Good luck,

Sally
