Are refried beans allowed?

I found a good recipe for chicken fajitas in the SBD cookbook and plan to make it this week. I will heat up a can of refried beans to go with them for my family; can I have some too, or do I just have to drool over their plates? (LOL - eewww).

Thanks,
Laurie

You can have the "fat-free" variety of refried beans.

Okay, the can I have in my pantry doesn't say fat-free. It's Taco Bell vegetarian blend, and it has (for a 1/2 cup serving) 120 calories, total fat 1g, saturated and trans fat 0%, total carbs 20g. Is that too high? Otherwise I'll get the stuff labeled fat-free.

Thanks!

Can you tell me what is listed in the ingredients?

It says "cooked pinto beans, water, less than 2% of salt, soybean oil, dried pink beans, natural flavor, soy lecithin".

Thanks again!,
