What would these count for?
Lentils, non fat refried beans etc?
Almonds
Peanuts?

If you read through the Phase 1 Food list, you will see that things are listed in categories:

Nope, on SB they are not considered "proteins" Proteins are listed under the "Protein" category, here is a list of things that are protein:

PROTEIN
BEEF Lean* cuts, such as:
Bottom Round
Eye of Round
Flank Steak
Ground beef:
# Extra Lean (96/4)
# Lean (92/8)
# Sirloin (90/10)

Nuts are in their own category - 1 serving per day
