Hi Im going to let one of the CL's answer your question about adding more grains and fruits to your meals. I just wanted to say that water melon is not allowed on SB. It is on the avoid list. Also it looks like your eating to many nut servings. If you have 2 tablespoons of PB then you should not have any more nuts that day unless your splitting them up. You also look very low on your veggies. We need at least 4 1/2 cups a day.

PS Also when we enter phase 2 we will sometimes gain some back.
Hi,
I think that Lisa is right.
How come that is? The weight gain?
Also...
What would you recommend the best choices when it comes to grains and fruits?
I know there is a whole list of them... :)
Hi,
There isn't a best choice on the list.
Today for my grains...
I had oatmeal and at lunch i will be having half a sandwich... (the bread is approved)
Is that okay?
Also I had a question about nuts?
Are nuts allowed every day?
Is peanut butter?
Also I bought the SBD peanut butter snack bars and peanut butter cookies...
What do those count towards?
Thanks
Those grains are fine.
You may have 1 serving of nuts every day.
The bars count towards your grain/starch serving and the cookies count towards your sweet treats.
Are they okay?
If so -- how many a day?
what do they count towards?
thanks
