Too much food -mixing SBD & WW

This is almost enough to make me LOL.  I never thought I would say that a diet requires too much food, but oh my...

I just had breakfast (1 egg, scrambled with 1/2 C green pepper and 1oz. feta cheese) and 8 oz. skimmed milk...and I am FULL!  I am still supposed to have a starch and a fruit.   I am not hungry.  I do not want any more food right now.  Is it a requirement that I eat all SBD says I am supposed to?  I am nursing so I assume it is, but I am uncomfortable.

In all honesty I preferred the WW I did last year, especially since I do not eat artificial sweeteners and have a pretty bad sweet tooth.  I chose SBD for two reasons: because DH refuses to do WW and agrees to SBD, and also because I believe it to be a very healthy diet.

I wonder if anyone here combines the two.  I have been giving much thought to sticking to my WW Points, while eating the bulk of my diet in a SBD-friendly manner.  I would choose high-fiber breads and cereals, skip the white flour and processed foods as much as possible, and eat more veggies.  Where I might change things is to have that ff (but not sf) pudding for dessert every now and then.  I can not go without dessert!

If anyone does this I would love to hear about it!

I think it's all about finding a healthy balance and doing what works for you.

I follow SBD but refuse to eat anything with artificial sweeteners, it makes me ill and gives me migraines. I really don't think they're good for you, but then again I am a semi-hippy. ;)

I don't eat sugar for the most part, but on days when I'm about to have an intense workout I will eat a Stoneyfield Farms FF Fruit yogurt. Yogurt really makes a difference in my workouts, and while the yogurt does contain sugar it has not hindered my diet progress.

So I say go with the pudding. It's much better than giving up alotgether on your diet because you feel too restricted. Good luck!

Hi Laurie,

We've had lots of members combine South Beach with Weight Watchers.

Hi Laurie,

Did you see the post I wrote you in a previous thread about natural sweeteners that are fine for SBD?

The reason we avoid sugar is one of the basic, important parts of SBD.

Hi Laurie...I do most of the time. I love SB but I tend to eat too much of some foods so I count the points to help me stay within
