Carb serving question

If I understand correctly, one serving of grain is 30g...correct? If so, I have a question on how to compute the 30g. If my slice of whole-grain bread is 45g with 18g carb and 3g fiber...then, does that count as 1 1/2 servings of grain because of the 45g or is it 1/2 of a serving because of the 18g carb. Basically, is the 30g the portion size or the amount of carbs & does the amount of fiber get calculated into this at all? I hope my question is clear...thanks so much for your help!

Sorry, but your 45 gram slice of bread with only 3 grams of fiber is too low in fiber.
