phase 1 or phase 2?

Hey everyone, I am new here and I just have a quick question. I only have 6-7 lbs to lose, but need to lose them rather quickly. Should I do phase 1 or start with phase 2? Thanks a lot! I have everything ready and plan on starting tomorrow morning.

Hi! I'm not sure where you should start...I'm sure a CL will be able to give you better advice about that. However, I DO know that if you only have 7 pounds to lose, you shouldn't necessarily expect to lose them super quickly. If you have that little to lose, you probably won't lose the huge amount of weight on phase 1 that people tend to expect. Who knows...maybe you will be able to lose quickly, but I just wanted to warn you that it might not be as fast as you would hope, and that's really okay, because it's healthier and stays off better when you lose it slowly. Anyway, I'm sure the CLs will be able to give you better advice! Good luck,

Where you start depends more on cravings. Do you crave sweets? Are your cravings uncontrollable? If so, start with Phase 1. If not, Phase 2 is a perfectly safe place to start where you will see sustained weight loss.


I see you want to lose some weight rather quickly. Please know that this is not a 'quick fix' or 'fad' diet. This is a healthy way of eating for life. The benefits of SBD are weight loss in a heart healthy way.
