SBD breads available in Canada

Hi

I was reading over the recommended breads/cereals list for P2 and noticed that most of the breads listed I have not seen here in Canada (except for the Ezekiel bread). Maybe other Canadians can tell me which breads they use that meet SBD's P2 guidelines.

Before SBD I ate a spelt bread, but it only lists the nutritional information per 100 grams, not per slice. I suppose I could weigh out a slice to figure out how much fibre is in a slice. I prefer spelt or kamut breads but not sure these are high enough in fibre.

What ingredients should I be looking for in a suitable bread?

Hi Dana,

I can't help you with brands in Canada.

Thanks, Cathy. I may try a different bread just to mix things up, and I'm wondering what kind of flour should be listed on the ingredients list: whole wheat flour, 100% whole wheat flour?
