Ok So I got the whole wheat flour tortillas. BE CARFEUL and be sure to READ the labels! Many of the brands had tricky wording, yet the list of ingredients had sugar and high fructose corn syrup in the list.
Here's what i got:
Mission Carb Balance Whole Wheat Fajita Size 0 trans fat No lard, no cholesterol
0 g sugar
Fiber 8g fat 2 g
per tortilla
Anyways, it as the best choice this market had.
I used fat free olive oil spray in a can and sprayed each side of the tortilla and set it in the frying pan(nonstick)
It wasn't quite as crunchy as the way I used to make them, but it worked. As I took it out of the pan I lightly sprinkled each side of the shell with 100% grated parmesean.
This we also need to use caution with. Even the cans that say 100% parmesean has added fillers to prevent caking and I can't even pronounce those things in the list. So I got a block from the dairy case and grated it myself and It doesn't stick. I just don't get why these companies need to add a filler to prevent caking. Mine didnt' cake up at all.
Anyone have any thoughts on these 2 things??

Hi Lisa,
This tortilla might be fine!
Lisa, I can't find nutritional info online for the Mission tortilla you mentioned, with 8g fiber.
