Two questions in one....

Now that I am in Phase 2 heaven (loving the reintroduction of brown rice) can anyone tell me:
1) Exactly how much water should I drink a day? I am getting in about 96 oz. right now;
2) Since lemon water is considered a carb competitor, should I drink it before, after or during a meal that includes carbs?
Still only 5 lbs down from Phase 1 but I have added 1/2 hr of elliptical training and light weight training 3 days a week, and walking 1 mile 3 days a week (to make sure that I am physically active 6 days a week).
