Why is he STILL hungry??

No matter how much food I give him, my man is still hungry. We had a big dinner, he had seconds, and he is snacking already...a sugar free pudding, then a SB snack bar (he's already had 3 grain servings, plenty of veggies, he might need one more serving of dairy at the most) He is driving me crazy, why is he still hungry? Why is he always hungry no matter what I do?

I'm at my wits end!!!

Randa,

I'm wondering, is he really hungry or is he eating out of habit?

Kimmie,

I know it's not thirst, he drinks water constantly, he's always reminding me to drink. He works from home, and he's not cheating. He is totally honest with me, and is only eating SB approved foods....however, it IS very possible that something he is eating is triggering him. He did GREAT in phase 1, no hunger, etc...the problem is just since phase 2. It is also possible that it is stress/emotional eating. I will try to diary what he is eating and see if one of the foods in phase 2 is what the culprit is.

Thanks for thinking analytically about it, I was so frustrated I couldn't do that!!

Randa, I think the most important thing to note is this - eating what he is eating, is he gradually losing weight??

That's the problem, neither of us have lost anything since beginning phase 2 (we are in the middle of week 3). We haven't GAINED anything either, but I know he's getting frustrated and thinking "what's the point?" I talked to him the other day and we agreed that we both had good losses in phase 1 and since we hadn't gained any of it back that we were doing good, but I know he's restless, wanting to cheat, etc.

I hope I can hold him to this with the line of reasoning that we are using, because I KNOW he's healthier...

Randa, it's really common for the scale to seem to temporarily stall as you transition from P1 to P2.

Our clothes seem the same since the end of phase 1 to me, but then again, it got really hot and I am wearing different clothes now...broke out the summer stuff.

I am not giving up though, we are going to do this, and even if we don't lose as much as we might like, we're sticking with it...it's too healthy
