cravings on phase 2?
| Fri, 06-16-2006 - 12:31pm |
Not every day, but I am having moments of really craving chocolate or a big hunk of bread. Could it be that I just need to have more carbs throughout the day? I'm nursing exclusively, and sometimes I feel like hunger hits at weird times based on how much the baby's been eating. I obviously can't do strict phase 1 to get rid of these cravings. So my "solution" at these moments has been to have something like a thin slice of homemade ww bread with a little protein and some carrot sticks or something--basically a mini-meal. It helps in the sense that the hunger goes away, but is this the right approach? What does it suggest I should be doing differently to avoid the blood-sugar drop problem? Thanks for any input,
Andrea

Hi Andrea, you're doing just the right thing, adding more foods, including a carb + protien, as needed for hunger.
