Okay, so, I can finally have fruit after two weeks on Phase 1 (where I lost 6 pounds, thank you very much..)
And, I am so excited to have fruit- I had a teeny handful of frozen red grapes yesterday- don't wanna over do it!!
I have been reading about the Cheesecake/yogurt/fruit dessert, so I gave it a try tonight
Had the box of Sugar Free Cheesecake instant pudding, folded it into the 32 oz tub of nonfat plain yogurt- looked great- tasted - yuck!
So I put in a packet of Splenda, that helped a bit.
Then, I layered it in a parfait glass with a handful of blueberries and one big cut up strawberry, and one tablespoon of lowfat cool whip on the top.
I DO like the consistency, but, I feel there's a nasty aftertaste- anyone else find this, or, am I missing a key ingredient?? I'd like to continue eating this cause I'm sick of sugar free jello!!

I use an electric mixer to blend mine. I just stick on one (instead of both) of the mixer things and put it in the tub of yogurt. I also add the same amount of splenda that I add when I eat the yogurt plain. For a 32 ounce tub, that's about 16 packets. I don't know if this will help with the after taste or not though. If you still can't get over the taste, you should try the no sugar added fudgesicles. They're really good!
HTH!!!
I guess I will add more splenda and take your tip about the mixer---
That might help - thanks!

I think there is something about the cheesecake pudding. I have tried all the other sugar-free pudding flavors (chocolate, chocolate fudge, lemon, butterscotch, pistachio, vanilla, banana, white chocoate) and like them all made just as the package directs (with milk) But the cheesecake flavor was awful. It had a strange aftertaste flavor to me - like "sour" cheese more than cheese cake. So I think there is just something about that flavor that some people don't like.
I haven't tried any of them mixed into yogurt, yet. I like to use regular fruit flavored jell-o powder for mixing into yogurt (doesn't change consistency, just adds flavor - I use about a teaspoon of powder per cup of yogurt) Lemon, orange and lime are my favorites.
