I was just wondering how many slices of Amy's pizza was a grain serving. We normally cut it into 8 slices.

Thanks gals!!!

I follow the nutrition label on the box. I believe that 1/3 of the pizza is a serving.

Wow! That's a lot of pizza! I have 2.5 grain servings left today so I'm using some of it on pizza!

Thanks Cathy!

I never heard of Amy's pizza. Where do you get it?

I buy them at my local grocery store. Amy's is an organic brand, so it will be in the frozen section of the health food aisle.

Here is a link with product info:

I find Amy's Organics products at my regular grocery store. The pizzas are in the frozen section.

I've always been a little confused - in my opinion only the product called Cheese and Pesto Pizza with WHOLE Wheat crust looks legal. It is the only one with "whole" wheat listed. It also has twice as much fiber as the other ones. The rest are simply "wheat flour" - which we have been taught is not okay. But according to the powers that be, the others are legal too I guess.

Since it's a bit low in fiber the nutritionists recommend adding a side salad or extra veggies with this pizza to make it a meal.

I ate a bunch of green beans with it. I've only had that kind of pizza one other time because I'm not a huge pizza fan, but sometimes I really want it. Amy's is by far the best frozen brand there is! We always have one or two in the freezer now, even though we don't eat them all that often. They're great when I don't feel like cooking. It's something DH can make all by himself. ;)

As for the SB pizzas, I didn't like them all that much. The sauce was too spicy and the crust was really thick and mushy. I used to really like the Lean Cuisine pizzas (not since starting SB, of course) and I thought they were way better than the SB ones. Just my two cents though.
