Hi,
I've been getting motivated by the posts here for the last 3 weeks and love the support.wanted to introduce myself, i started SB WOE last august and was at an all time high of abt 138( im 5'3 .. n i was totally low on myself) i lost abt 4 pounds on phase 1 and another 4 on phase 2 but wasnt following it very religiously..went thro some stressful times and tho i dint loose weight, have been fluctuating b/w 130-132.

after 3 weeks of eating well,(on weekends i do eat a treat) i saw 129.5 this morning!!!
my goal is abt 118....
i'm finally understanding phase 2,the 4.5 cups of veges, 2 cups of dairy is simple, but i hadnt realized that 1 grain = 30g....!n i was eating a tortilla(68g) 2 times, totally going over my grain servings. im still confused abt protien(how much meat, cheese),so any help would be much appreciated.

A Thnx to the Cls who always seem to have a solution!

Hi and welcome! I am glad you found us this time around. Proteins are technically not limited, but portion controlled. Typically we start with 2 or 3 oz of protein per serving. If you are still hungry you may have more veggies as well as more protein. Here is a meal planning guide for phase 2 that will help you figure out the protein servings.

Phase 2 Meal Planning Guide

In Phase 2, you'll gradually begin to reintroduce healthy carbohydrates into your diet. Here's how to do it: Week one and two: Add in two good carb choices daily. We suggest you reintroduce fruit at lunch, dinner, or as a snack, but it's not the best choice first thing in the morning at breakfast. We recommend a high-fiber cereal for breakfast. Week three and four: move to four good carbs choices daily: 1-2 fruits and 1-2 starches.
