Help! Major crash and burn!! (long)

Oh, I am so not happy.
A little background: my rough time has always been starting at 3 or 4:00 in the afternoon. Before SB, I would eat lunch then by the time I got home from work I would be ready to start eating the dining room table. And chairs. I would eat as soon as I got home (usually a biiig snack to get rid of that desperate famished sensation), then of course I had to fix dinner for the hubby so I would eat plenty of that too.
Well, I thought that was over once I got through 4 or 5 days of P1. As some of you know, I started P2 on Friday. Friday was fine, I think: I had a piece of ww toast with breakfast and a peach for dessert after dinner. Yesterday was a disaster.
I did not exercise (first mistake) and had the same breakfast as Friday: a big (half-caff) latte with 10 oz ff milk and sf hazelnut syrup, one slice of ww bread with a little olive oil (I found a little slice that actually weighed 30 grams) and one Morningstar sausage patty. Second mistake: I made a big shopping trip and ended up not having my snack until after 11 am. I was very hungry at this point. Since it was lunchtime, I just had 10 grape tomatoes while I made lunch (a leftover chicken breast, a big bowl of raw veggies, and --- third mistake, I think --- a peach.
It all went downhill from there. After that I was back to that starving feeling no matter what or how much I ate.
Afternoon snack: homemade frozen yogurt with sf hazelnut syrup and a few chopped hazelnuts
Another snack: 15 pistachios and a piece of cheese
Dinner: lf turkey sausage (I think one piece is legal but I had two), lots of raw veggies
Still hungry an hour later, so snack: piece of cheese
Still (really) hungry an hour later, so made two scrambled eggs with salsa and a little sour cream.
After that I just went to bed!
OK, so to the point: I don't EVER want to feel like that again, so what do I need to do to prevent it? Was it the peach? The one missed snack?
Sorry for the long post but I am panicking.
Deb

I do not see where this qualifies as a "major crash and burn" you didn't eat anything off limits, and I don't even think it's too much food. You kept to one grain and one piece of fruit (which is appropriate for week 1 of P2) You only had a few extra nuts and some extra protein, not a problem really. You were hungry because you needed more food. Some days are like this, and as the CL's say, "as long as you are selecting from the 'foods to enjoy list' go ahead and EAT" Your body is a furnace and it won't keep burning without enough fuel to keep it hot.
I think you did fine, I'm sure the CLs will have more advice (and probably better words of wisdom than this) very soon. Believe me, anyone who has been on this plan for 3 weeks or more has experienced days much worse than this, eating wise.
Try not to beat yourself up, it's not like you cheated or something

Hi,
Randa is right (And, I have no better words of wisdom).
Thanks to both of you for making me feel so much better about this! I just hate to feel SO out-of-control hungry. I didn't really understand that I can have as much of the "foods to enjoy" as I need to. I'm also glad to report that today is going much better! :) Thanks again
Deb
You're welcome. It's hard not to feel down after a slip up, but with this program, there's no reason you have to. Especially not for eating when you are hungry from the approved foods list. The book explains that when you go hungry, your body stores more. This affects your insulin levels and ultimately your hunger level, potential to binge and your weight. And don't forget that sometimes when you feel like you are an "eating machine" you are really thirsty, so drink up!!
You're doing, great, keep on going, and keep us posted
Randa
Hi Deb, I didn't see anything actually "bad" that you did, either.
Maggie, thanks for the input. I'd come to the same conclusion about the bread and frozen yogurt. This morning I had a serving of All Fiber (the extra fiber kind) with skim milk, half a peach and a Morningstar sausage patty. I've felt good today, but do you think the fruit-grain combination is OK? (I secretly think the All Fiber tastes like wet cardboard without the fruit, and I ate the sausage to add some carb competition.)
Thanks again!
Deb
do you think the fruit-grain combination is OK?
Yes, I think this is fine as long as your personal reaction when eating it is good.
