phase 2 conflicting answers

I've read that it's perfectly normal to have a stall for the first week or so of P2. I also have read to just keep moving forward, by adding another grain and fruit each week for the first 3 weeks. I also read from a Dr. A post that initially you should eat the same grain and fruit at the same time each day (not together, but at a set time) for the first week to monitor for cravings, effect on blood sugar and weight stalls. If I remember correctly he also said if you have any of these you should switch to a higher fiber grain or eat it at a different time etc. - keep experimenting.
So here's my question, I've definitely stalled this week, which I'm ok with, but do i switch to a different cereal/fruit for next week and stay at the single serving, or keep moving forward and add another fruit and grain to my existing plan.
I'm eating wheaties w/ skim milk and morning star sausage for breakfast. A banana for dessert with dinner.

Hi,
Stalls are very common.
I understand your confusion, we've been on phase 2 for about a month and a half now, and we didn't loose any weight on phase 2 for the first couple weeks. This is the time to add activity to your plan...if you haven't already. We just kept on adding fruit and grains till we got to the three servings per day. I mix it up some, but we keep to the foods that I know we can control/handle. Just watch for cravings, and foods you don't feel like you can control well. For me it's pasta/rice. Even in brown varities, I cannot cook and eat these foods, I overindulge every time. So I keep them for special occasion only use. Be sure you are getting plenty of protein, and vegetables, don't forget you still need 4 1/2 cups of veggies every day.
You'll be losing weight in no time, trust me!

Hi novemberbride,
It's not that the Phase 2 start suggestions are conflicting answers, they are actually different options.
Thanks everyone for the advice. I think I will try a higher fiber cereal, I just happen to love wheaties. As far as carb competitors, I have read about them. I do eat eggs with my cereal for breakfast, and I've been consistently eating my fruit with my dinner as dessert, so I should be covered there.
My weight did drop down yesterday to what it was at the end of P1, so it must just be a fluctuation and adjusting to the new foods I'm eating. Hopefully I'll just keep moving forward from here.
Thanks again and Happy MOnday! Lori
I bought Fiber One with Honey Clusters yesterday and I even know enough now to limit my portion to 30 grams instead of the serving size on the box. I'm coming right along.. LOL.
