Traveling/Vacation on Phase 2

Hi everyone,
Well I am so excited I have completed phase 1 and lost about 10 pounds. I say about because I don't own a scale and only have myself weighed when I go to the dr. But my clothes are fitting and I am in a smaller size and I feel great.
I must confess I have been staying more on phase 1 this past week rather than going into phase 2 just from fear. So I am just looking for some support to help me get into phase 2 and not get stuck in phase 1 for fear alone.
Additionally we are leaving this coming week on vacation and I was wondering what I can take on the plane while traveling. We have one lay over and I need to keep to my eating schedule for snacks etc. Any recommendations??
Thanks everyone for all the support and great postings along the way.

Thank you so much for saying that. I did not realize I was slowing down my metabolism.
OK, I will beging to add a whole grain and fruit beginning tomorrow morning.
We are going up to Maine, we have rented a beach house for a week along with my brother's family so it should be lots of fun.

Any gathering with my family involves lots of food. I find I have to make sure there is plenty of foods I can eat, lots of veggies so I keep away from cheese and crackers. I also bring the South Beach bars for emergencies when travelling. Little cans of V-8 are good. Somehow I'm okay for meals as I know what to choose but those snack times need extra planning. Also I've found that the "I'll try a little bite- that won't hurt" leads to lots of bites.

Good luck and have a great time!

Sally
