This coming Tuesday will be day 1 of P2. I am so excited. But, there is a problem. We just booked a trip to the "river" with a group of our friends. For those that don't know what this mean: a group of friends all get together, we are all driving about 5 hours in an RV and camping on one of the rivers here in TX. Then you get up, and get tubes, and float down the river ALL day long with your friends AND your beer!!! That's the problem. BEER! How bad do I sound!! ha! But it really is part of the whole party! So, should I just come up with another drink to take on the river, or is there any type of beer that is some what close to SB friendly?? Of course I will drink in moderation!!!
Please don't judge me by this message! I know it sounds a little crazy!! Ha!

good luck floating!
Thanks for the tips! M-Ultra gives me a very bad head-ache so Rolling Rock Lite it is then, sorta sounds like it will go with the environment too!!! Ha! My sister in-law just got back from The Comal River, which was flowing really good, so that is the one we will try. The Guad isn't flowing much at all. We have huge hopes for more rain in the next few weeks. ha!
It's just one day, so I will keep it in moderation, and drink plenty of water!!!
So from your name, I am assuming you live in Dallas? I live in the Mid-Cities. How long have you been on SB?
Yup, dallas. :P
How about bring a 'jug' of something else? Crystal light mixed with Malibu Rum is yummy. Or how about white wine spritzer mixed with diet 7up?
Congrats on the weight loss!!! That is great. I have only been on SB for 11 days, I feel better then I have in a really long time, so I can't imagine how I will feel in a year~
Thanks for sharing!
Although it's not listed, you may have white zinfandel.
Beverages, Alcoholic
Beers - AVOID
Liquors (gin, rum, vodka, whiskey) - ALLOWED
Mixed Drinks:
Personally, if it is just one or two days I would eat/drink whatever you want and then get right back on plan. It will not affect your weight loss significantly and it is a "life moment" that you should enjoy. The probem would be if you were to NOT get back on plan as soon as you return home.
It is not the one or two days that mess you up it is the getting back into bad eating habits.
Enjoy!
Lisa.
If you like wine, you can also buy 4-packs of single-serving wine bottles (some of them are plastic rather than glass). They come in all kinds of varieties, some of them really good. I enjoy having them around when I don't want to open a regular bottle just to have a single glass. Have fun on the trip --- sounds like a great time!
