Thanks ... I love all of those things too.

I need to add more fiber and grains to my diet. I should be eating more than I have been lately. Maybe that would help me lose weight faster.

I have lost about 5 pounds and I'm on the third week of Phase 2.

So, I lost five pounds in five weeks. Slow but steady wins the race.

I have a tendency to get VERY bloated around that time of the month. I also think that I get bloated if I eat greasy foods. I think baked fish in butter bothers my stomach, so I avoid foods that are baked and always go for grilled foods without butter.

Is there a secret to avoid that awful bloating that makes me swell up to pregnant proportions? It gets REALLY bad! (And painful.) Advil helps the pain but not the bloat.

I don't eat much "bread" since starting SBD. I tend to lean more towards WW tortillas, quinoa, steel cut oats, WW couscous & soba noodles. Also I make several SBD-friendly muffins that are great with lunch or a snack.

How do you know if oats are "steel cut"? Does it say that in the ingredients or on the box somewhere?
