Hi, is Quaker Oatmeal, not the instant in the little bags, but the one that comes in the red containers Ok for phase 2?

The best choice is steel cut oats but you can have the Quakers. Just be sure to get the long cooking kind (5 minutes) and not the instant.

I, personally, the 5 minute oats all through Phase 2 and lost all my weight.

Quaker Old Fashioned Oats are a great choice.

that is the one Cathy, I will try the steel cut, but the quaker old fashioned is what I was talking about. I can add hot water to them, with a little big of Splenda and some walnuts and I have a heck of a good breakfast.

does this sound OK for Phase 2, adding hot water to the Quaker old fashioned?

If you add skim or 1% milk instead of the water you'll be getting in one of the required dairy servings along with your oatmeal.
