Does anyone have period problems after being on the SBD? I am supposed to have my period right now and all I am getting is spotting. Im not on the pill so it has nothing to do with that.

Yes, it is very common. For me it was more spotting and heavier AF.

The CL's can link you up with some threads.

On the same topic, I just need to vent about my TOM this week. I was SO bloated, I couldn't even find clothes to fit me! I tried every pair of pants in my closet for an evening out on Saturday - could only find 2 that fit!! I don't blame SBD for this, just TOM in general - but it was very frustrating. I wish there were a magic potion to avoid the bloat.......

I am right with you on that. I gain 4-5 pounds with AF and just feel horrible (I also have endometriosis so lots of cramping too). I compound the problem by needing aleve for cramps which is chock full of sodium.

I only get to feel "skinny" for 3 weeks out of the month. It is just not fair!

I used to have a lot of these kinds of problems when I was younger. I found one thing that really made all the difference in the world for me. It's an herbal supplement called Diurtabs. It's a natural diuretic, and it really helped me to take it during my TOM. I just took a couple of the capsules with my morning meal and the discomfort and bloating vanished. I only took them at TOM though, my mom didn't think it would be good to take them all the time, and I agree.

Hope this helps, no one should really have to suffer that way, I remember it was miserable.

AF is horrible, but I try to look on the bright side. Once it's over..it's like an instant fairytale diet. 3-5 pounds gone within a day! If all weight loss could be that easy!! :-P

Now that's optimistic!! I too, feel a sense of relief when it's over!
