I can't believe how some people lost 14 pounds or so in Phase I and I only lost 7 pounds in 9 weeks - not even a pound a week every week. It's such a slow process for me.

BUT ... it is slowly but surely going down and I'm sticking with it until I reach my goal weight.

I will try to incorporate more exercise in my routine and try to crank it up a notch, if possible. As for food, I'm being good and following the prescribed menu choices.

And I'll try eating smaller portions, even though they weren't large to begin with since I'm not a big eater.

You are not alone-I'm right there with you...EXACTLY!

I've lost 7.0 lbs in 9 weeks, too.

Some weeks its so-o frustrating to lose 0.2 lbs! I'm going to stick with it, too. We just got a family membership at the local athletic club and I have met twice with a personal trainer to try to "step it up" a bit.

Good luck to you.

That's great! Let me know how it goes.

I can't afford a personal trainer but I'll just try to vary my exercises and see what happens.

Thanks ... I hope you're right that they will stay off.

I had my weigh in this morning-up 2 lbs! So, I'm no longer 7 lbs in 9 weeks, but 5 lbs :-(

I don't get it, but I'm going to get right back on that horse! I'm off to the gym...

So frustrating...

That's why I don't weigh myself every day ... it's so discouraging when it goes back up.

I only weigh myself once a week.

The best time is in the morning when you are at your lightest.

I'm always afraid to look.

Definitely exercise; that should help. :)

Hi JenMarie,

Are you still on the SBD? If so, how are you doing on Week 13? We were at the same place on Week 9 at 7 pounds.

Now I'm 10 pounds at 13 weeks. I'm three pounds under my 1-pound-a-week goal but that isn't bad.

I'd be interested in your progress report. :)

Hi!

Thanks for checking up on me :-)

I still "hover" around the 7-8 pound mark. My trainer tells me not to pay any attention to the scale. I am building muscle. The inches are coming off and I have to say that I feel great. I'm walking taller-feeling stronger.

I'm still doing SB. I'd like to lose about 12 lbs more.

My hubby and I are going to Aruba in December, so instead on focusing on the numbers I'm striving to "feel good" in a bathing suit.

Keep in touch-

P.S.

Thumbs up on your weight loss!

Wow, that is wonderful news! Muscle is great! I am not building muscle like you but that's a great thing to do. I should be doing that too.

Keep up the good work! :)

(I want to lose about 20 more pounds so I still have a ways to go.)
