Just a couple of questions that have been rattling around my brain.
On Phase II can you have regular cheese or should you continue to stick with the low/no fat cheese. In particular I love feta and blue cheese, but found both low fat versions completely bland. If you cannot eat the regular version of these cheeses on II can you add them once you reach your target weight?
Also, I eat lots of veggies by microwaving them. I find it's very quick and the veggies retain a crispness and flavor that you dont get boiling or steaming. My question is this: How do you add some flavor to complement the veggies? I eat mostly broccoli, asparagus, green beans, brussel sprouts. Anyone have any hints to add some flavor, be it spices or sauces that are SB friendly?
Finally I'll add that this diet has really worked for me. I have been on it two months and have droppped about 40 pounds. It has really attacked my midsection and almost completely elimated the spare tire and love handles I was carrying around.
thanks for any responses.

Hi,
Cheese
thanks Cathy,
let me be sure, I can eat the regular version of feta cheese on level II? If so, should I limit my intake? Feta tastes sooooooo good in green salads! I can also envision egg beaters, spinach and feta omlettes
thanks
Hi,
Just popping in here. A 40 pound weight loss! That's awesome ~ congratulations!
To answer your question, you may have regular feta or other cheeses that aren't labelled 'low-fat' providing they contain 6g of fat or less per serving. Some cheeses, like feta are naturally lower in fat and you will find the 'full fat' version meets this guideline.
I will be adding the feta in moderate amounts.
No one was more flabbergasted then me when I stepped on the scale 2 months into the diet. I did not weigh myself during the process but measured progress by the fact that I had to drill new holes in my belts to hold my pants up.
I stepped on a scale last week and was beside myself when It came up at 213 pounds, fully clothed. I started the diet right around 250 pounds. My goal is to get to 205 pounds and then maintain. I am tall (6"4") male and 205 pounds is just about right for my frame.
First hand experience has shown me that this diet really works. My blood pressure has dropped to normal levels and I will be getting my cholesterol measured shortly. I am almost positive that has dropped as well.
Finally, as diets go, this one was not hard to do. The only hard part was having to always prepare meals at home to take to work and out to other places. I stuck to the diet religiously and was rewarded with a much healthier and better looking body.
What an inspiring story - thanks for sharing!
