South Beach Bars and Cookies

Hi everyone,

I was wondering about the grain count on the 100 calorie snack bars and the cookies. I believe the cereal bars count for 1 grain but wasn't sure about the others. On the back of the cookie box it says "..up to two servings a day" so i am thinking that 1 pack (2 cookies) counts for 1 grain? Do I have to count any portion as a sweet treat. I know I am rambling. Help!

Hi,

The snack bars and cereal bars count as 1 grain serving.

Thank you for clarifying Cathy! All this time, I've been couting them as a sweet treat and always thought it should somehow be counted as a grain. Thank you again!

Hi,

Personally, I'd be cautious about adding an additional 100 calories of sweet treats along with the cookies.

The SBD cookies are mostly oatmeal, if I recall correctly, and that's why they're a grain serving.
