Day 1: breakfast: eggs plus 8 onz grapefruit juice; lunch was turkey wrap (used flat out wraps) with 2 tbs hummus and veggies inside + provolone. Dinner was big romaine lettuce salad with 1/4 c walnuts + 1/4 cups crumbled cheese and grilled chicken and balsamic dressing.

Day 2: same breakfast, similar lunch but used olive tapenada instead of hummus, similar dinner but no cheese or nuts but used chickpeas and ranch dressing.

Day 3: Same breakfast, for lunsh made "pepperoni pizza" (flat out wrap with tomato sauce, mozzarela cheese, turkey pepperoni and mushrooms on top). Same grilled chicken salad with almonds and ranch dressing this time.

Day 3: Sick of same breakfast, so whole grain blueberry oatmeal and 8 onz grapefruit juice. Meatloaf (lean meat) and cauliflower for lunch. Chicken wrap with hummus and veggies inside + 1 cup of FF milk for dinner. This time had 1 cheese string for snack. Usually am not hungry for snacks during the day or have chai tea as my snack but this time I think oatmeal made me crave carbs.

Day 4: Eggs + 2 slices turkey bacon for breakfast. Bean soup and peanut butter sandwich for lunch. Tuna salad for dinner.

Day 5: French toast (used WW bread) for breakfast. PB sanwich for lunch (light lunch because going out for dinner). Grilled steak + broiled shrimp and string beans for dinner.

Day 6: PB sanwich for breakfast. WW tortilla turkey wrap with hummus and veggies for lunch. Grilled chicken salad with cheese crumbles for dinner.

Does this sound good? My weight has not budged since week 2 of P1. Have only lost 2 lbs so far. I can't have veggies for breakfast. The thought makes me sick. Am usually not hungry for snacks and usually a cup of chai tea suffices me. Have been going to curves 3 times a week. I am thinking of doing 2 cardio classes and 1 pilates class a week instead.
Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Happy

You're looking light on the fruit and dairy intake from what I can see. You should try to eat whole fruit rather than juice so you can take advantage of the fiber. You should also be having at least 2 cups of dairy per day, meaning 2 cups of milk, yogurt, or soy milk. Cheese counts toward your protein intake, not your dairy intake. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water.

Otherwise in general it looks good. Just remember that you should have a minimum of 4 1/2 cups of veggies every day and that Dr. Agatson recommends that 1/2 cup of those veggies be legumes (beans, lentils, etc.). You might want to try drinking some V-8 for breakfast to help with the veggie intake. Fruit smoothies are also a good way to combine fruit and dairy requirements, good for breakfast or snacks.

HTH -- let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

I think that increasing your exercise is a great idea.

Yes, 1/2 a grapefruit is one fruit serving.

But the juice is a no-no.
