Does cheerios have enough fiber in it to eat for breakfast I want to have more of a variety in phase 2 than what I am giving myself in phase 1 I will eat the steel cut oats and everything but I love cheerios. I am sad to have to cut Special K out since I read it has not much or none at all and that is my absolute favorite cereal. I am also going to try some Kashi cereal I have got my eye on some. Anyhoo I am babbling about nothing

Thanks

Sorry, Cheerios does not have enough fiber. We look for cereals that have 3-5 grams of fiber per 1 ounce (30g) serving. Here is a list of ones to look for (caution: manufacturers are constantly changing their formulas, so be sure to check the nutrition panel before buying):

General Mills Fiber One
Kashi GoLean (original - not Crunch)
Kelloggs All Bran Original
Kelloggs Bran Buds
Kelloggs Special K Low Carb Lifestyle
Post 100% Bran Cereal
Post Shredded Wheat & Bran
Uncle Sam Cereal
Uncle Sam Cereal w/ Mixed Berries

Does this help?

Sweetmomof5,

Please note that's not the regular Special K, it's a newer variety with a lot more fiber and nutrients in it.
