STarting over

Hi,
I was doing the SBD for about a month before I went on Vacation. I did the first 2 weeks and then went on to phase 2 for another two weeks. I went away and was bad!! I tried getting back on track when I got back but I didn't. So long story short, I am ready to get serious (I know it's right by the holidays but what better time than now). I have a few questions:

1) Should I start on phase one again or start on phase 2?
2) Could someone send me a typical day on phase two while losing weight?
3)Should I start with 1 starch and one fruit?
Thanks for your help. I reallly want to just lose 15 pounds and I am really struggling. I am hoping this will be the answer. I already work out 4 days a week so I am on the right track!

Here's a good typical Phase 2 day recommended by a nutritionist that one of the CLs, Cathy, met with. I've had success when I stick to this, with appropriate substitutions when desired.

Breakfast (aim for about 300 calories)
1 slice toast or 1/2 cup Uncle Sams
1 fruit
1 cup skim milk or 1 cup yogurt
1 egg (optional)

Snack: (aim for about 100 calories)
Fruit & 1 string cheese

Lunch: (aim between 300 to 400 calories)
1 slice bread or 1/2 cup starch
2 to 3 ounces protein
veggies or salad with 1 Tbs. lite dressing
1 cup milk

Snack: (aim for 100 calories)
whole wheat pita & 2 tbs. hummus

Dinner: (aim for 350 to 500 calories)
1/2 cup starch
3 to 4 ounces protein
Salad &/or veggies

Thank you fo rthe answer, it is helpful. What if I am just starting, I shouldn't have that many starches right? What would a typical day look like if I WAS JUST STARTING? aND SHOULD I start over at ph1 or just start at ph 2?

Welcome back! The sample menu that Mags gave you would be adaptable to phase 1 if you just remove the fruits and grains from the plan. Here is our phase 1 meal planner that should help, too: Phase 1 Meal Planner Guide
