Steel cut vs 'Extra Rough' oatmeal

Hi, and another oatmeal question! Hubby and I are moving onto Phase II tomorrow also, and when I was at the store shopping for oatmeal, I found something interesting. I wish I had the box here with me, so I have to go by memory on this.

The steel-cut oats were only 1/4 cup per serving, and had something like 160 calories(?? not sure on that part). There was also this stuff called Extra Rough Oatmeal (or something like that), which the box said was ground in such a way as to be thicker and rougher than even steel-cut. The serving size was larger (1/3 cup), and the calories only slightly higer than the steel-cut. Has anyone else ever heard of this? Or tried it? It comes in a red box. I can't find it on Google, so I'm pretty sure that isn't the correct name, but it was something really close to that.

I just want to make sure it's OK to eat it, and to follow the recommended serving size of 1/3 cup each.

Thanks!

Hi,

Is this the oatmeal that you're referring to?
