starting phase 2 and have some doubts...

... i have lost 11 lbs, but all in first 7 days of phase 1. So, i sticked with phase 1 for 11 more days, and nothing has changed. I know 11 lbs is great for 18 days, but still... it kills me that i didnt move at all since day 7. Makes me think it is only water that went out. Plus, i am practically hungry all the time - i work all day, i do kickboxing 3 times per week, and some team sport other 2 weekdays. I am loosing physical strenght and will power with it.

Did anyone had amazing start then a big stop??

Can you guys give me a practical advice?

Yes, that sounds familiar. I lost 7lbs in the first 7 days of phase 1. Then, I lost only 1lb. the next week, for a total of 8lbs in 2 weeks of phase 1. So, I decided to move on to phase 2 after those 2 weeks and in 4 or 5 days, I've lost 2 more pounds. I definitely think that it is not good to stay too long on phase 1. I think what happened to me was that my body adjusted to the new foods of phase 1 after that first week and that effectively cut down the weight loss. So...I'm not expert, but I would move on to phase 2 if I were you. I also stepped up my exercise routine. I also made sure I was eating a variety of foods. I'm firmly convinced that the change in diet/exercise in moving from phase 1 to phase 2 has been the right thing for me to do. I think it kickstarted my metabolism again and now I've lost 10lbs total in under 3 weeks. And I feel good about that!!!

So..hang in there with this and enjoy adding some grains and fruits back to your diet!!!

Hi,

I'm not sure that you understand the plan.

I had the same experience. I lost 8 pounds the first 6 days on phase 1 and then only 1 pound the second week. I am starting phase 2 tomorrow and I think that this will be a good step for me as I am getting a bit bored with the limited food choices. I think that I'll start with a serving of cereal and fruit in the morning.

Good Luck

ok, ladies, your replies did help to calm my mind:) I was really getting desperate.

one more question, is Kellogs Special K considered a good whole grain cereal? I have read it has some rice in it.
