Craving M & Ms

Lets see...I think I am stuck in a rut on phase 2. I did phase 1 perfect and the first two weeks of phase 2 were going well.... then I had a handful of M and Ms and now the past few nights I've been treating myself to a few but the few is turning into a handful for more...I had no cravings at all before and don't know why I am craving these so much now...any suggestions? Thanks
Carol

Carol,
I'm sorry to hear you hit a bump in the road! I have some trigger foods of my own, and I just can't have them in the house. Then if I feel the need for a treat, I have a SB-friendly substitute. So if I'm wanting chocolate I can have a nsa fudgsicle, and if I want ice cream I'll have a smoothie. Hope this helps!

Hi Carol,
I agree with Deb.
Great info ! Stuff I knew, but definitely timely.
Thanks!

I've avoided some psychological craving pitfalls simply by not having the junk in my house anymore. The more barriers between me and m&m's the better! Can't eat what you don't have around!
You've gotten lots of great advice from the others - especially the information on cravings. But I do want to let you know that if you can handle it, you can have some dark chocolate on phase 2.
Not that this is really a help, but I saw an ad for DARK chocolate M&M's the other day. I haven't seen them in our stores, yet. But I'm looking for them. LOL!

I just got some SBD chocolate chip and peanut butter 100 calorie snack bars at Wal-Mart. They are awesome!
I also keep dark chocolate chips in the freezer for emergencies. They are hidden so I don't see them every time I go in the freezer.
I definitely agree with Karen. I buy a bar of dark, bitter chocolate and have a couple of squares if I'm really craving chocolate and that does the trick. It's so chocolaty that I can't stand to eat a lot of it. Also, sometimes I will have some chocolate milk made with no sugar added nesquick and skim milk.
