Yogurt vs. milk

Is FF milk interchangeable with FF plain yogurt?  I just realized I've been making my smoothies w/ 3/4 c. plain FF yogurt and 1/4 c. ff milk....and counting that as one diary serving.  I would prefer to continue using yogurt for it's health benefits.

I think I remember that for flavored yogurt we are limited to 1/2c. per day.

Any yogurt guru's out there?

I think you are fine doing this. If I remember correctly, 1 C FF plain yogurt is a dairy serving, so it would be interchangable with 1 C milk. I make most of my smoothies w/ 1/2 C. lt vanilla soymilk and 1/2 C. light & fit vanilla yogurt--I count them together as one dairy serving.
