Kraft South Beach Products?

Hey!

Today is my last day on Phase 1 (lost 6lbs)!! I am starting phase 2 tomorrow and I am going grocery shopping today. I have a few questions. Are the Kraft SBD products appropriate for phase 2? If so, do they count as a starch? Also, can anyone recommend a good tasting high fiber cold cereal to try?

Thank you for your help!!

I have liked all of the SBD products and use them for convenience when I need to. I usually cook every night when I get home so I don't use them too often but in a pinch I really like them.

Oh my gosh...I think that I was separated from kimmieindallas at birth! :-}

I love the Kashi Go Lean. As for the other SB frozen/refrigerated products, I'm rather picky too. I keep a couple the non-grain frozen meals on hand for those days that I don't have time to make lunch before work (or the night before); and, I tend to stick with the chicken ones. I have tried the refrigerated lunch wraps, but, if you can find the wraps you can make these yourself (and they would be better). I mean, they are basically lean ham, lf cheese, mustard, etc. If you don't have time, they are a decent quick lunch but they don't have the shelf life of the frozen meals. So, again, if I can find SB friendly wraps, I just make them myself. I have never tried the frozen breakfast wraps because the idea of frozen eggs...gross! I don't like breakfast bars, because it just doesn't seem like breakfast. I would rather have a hard boiled egg and a piece of low fat cheese, on the run -- than a breakfast bar. I have tried the SB cookies in the past...they are ok, but I would much rather have a couple chocolate dipped strawberries or Green Tea Truffles as a sweet treat, than a hard, crunch, hurt your teeth diet cookie. ....But, that's just me. I also don't use the SB Salad Dressings, which I am not even sure they make anymore because I haven't seen them. I tried them, but found them a bit on the fake sweet side. I would prefer to make my own Lemon Herbed vinegarette, or something like that.

I do know someone who loves the SB cereals too, but I have never tried them. She also swears by the Chocolate breakfast bar, but I have never tried those either.

hope this helps....

Wow, how our tastes are SO different...

I never liked frozen meals BUT...

I LOVE the 4-Cheese Pizza :-)

And the SBD Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies are the Bomb!! Especially dunked in skim milk!! They are great when you are really craving the real thing!

I haven't found a cereal that I like yet. I wasn't crazy about Uncle Sam's. I've had some of the Kashi cereals before too... I would rather have a Kashi waffle or a piece or toast or a WW mini bagel if I'm going to do grain in the morning.

As far as the SB products, I haven't been too adventurous because they are so expensive! I do like to get the 4-cheese pizza once in a while. It's a decent pizza fix if you're looking for something quick. I had one of the Kashi frozen meals and fed all of the chicken to my dog.

I think the SB cookies aren't bad, but they are pricey. I recently had them in my hand at the store and decided that for the price, I didn't need them... I can wait until I have a coupon or see a sale.

Good luck!
