I am going to be transitioning to Phase 2 on Monday, and will be shopping this weekend. I promised my husband (who is also doing SB) a sandwich next week. The Ezekiel products had been recommended to me (most of them anyway). I was just wondering a couple of things. Some people have said that it should be counted as a protein because of the beans and lentils - which doesn't make sense to me. Does anyone know anything about that?
Also, has anyone tried these products? I know they have english muffins, cereal, and tortillas too.
Paula

Hi Paula,
It's great to see you again.
Ezekiel breads are a good choice.
You ARE good! I didn't even mention that I had done SB before! I'm suprised that you remembered lil old me. Well, know I'm big old me!
I absolutely LOVED the SB WOE when I had done it last time (2 years ago?). I felt and looked great. Then, life got stressful and I started some "emotional eating", and gained all of the weight back. First, my dad developed stage 3 throat cancer. Then, while my dad was still doing chemo and radiation, my only brother (47) was diagnosed with Advanced Colon Cancer, then both my husband and I changed jobs within a 2 month span. THEN....we were both offered GREAT jobs ....IN PA (we lived in CT at the time). So, we had to sell the house, purchase another one, transition our daughter to a new school, AND get situated in a new job at a new company. You can imagine the emotional eating that took place during this time, all of the bad stuff too! (pizza, wine, chocolate.....I don't want to go on, because it may tempt some SBeachers!).
Now, I'm feeling back on track. I just need to pay close attention to the emotional eating. I never even thought that I was an emotion eater...now I know!
Thank you for welcoming me back. My husband has started SB with me (although...he isn't serious about it yet because he cheats constantly), but it has helped me out not to have to make multiple dinners!
I'm definitely looking forward to Phase 2. I'm sure that I will see you on the board soon!
Hey Paula -- I remember you too!
Welcome back and best of luck!
