I have been having a bit of trouble finding good SB friendly bread products. I recently moved to a somewhat rural area in PA, and it is a challenge finding some things that I need. I did, however, find a Whole Wheat roll that is 35g each, 4g of fiber, 4g of sugar, and 1g of fat. The sugar count seemed a bit high for bread. I was wondering if this would be a good option for SB. I don't plan on using them that often, I was planning on having them when we grill burgers.
I picked up Ezekiel 4:9 bread for a sandwich this week for hubby. I also found a 'fat fluch' tortilla, which looks terrible...but it was all that I could find that seemed SB friendly. (the grocery stores around here are terrible.) If anyone lives in or near Coventry, PA.....shopping suggestions would be appreciated! :-}
BTW -- I can't wait to have my bowl of GoLean tomorrow morning! I never thought that I would get sick of eggs and look forward to a bowl of cereal! :-}

We don't look at sugar grams in bread as ALL bread has to have sugar (sugar feeds the yeast and is necessary for the bread to raise) I personally try to find breads with honey or molasses as opposed to something like high fructose corn syrup - but that's just a personal preference. At 35g and 4g fiber - your bread sounds fine there. Just make sure its "100% Whole Wheat" and not some type of "wheat flour" or "enriched wheat flour".

I always have Sahara Whole Wheat Pita on hand as well as Pepperidge Farms Whole Wheat Mini Bagels, and Thomas Whole Wheat English Muffins.
You're welcome!
