First day on Phase Two! If I had not become a memeber of this board, I think I would be terrified. But, because of you guys I know that this is the "weight loss phase". I am a little worried about cravings, but still confident about doing well!!!
I start my exercise this week. I am having some strawberries after lunch, and a whole wheat roll with my dinner tonight! Yeehaw!! I spent the whole weekend with my sister in town and only had one tiny cheat, but overall did so much better than I ever do when she is around!!!
I do have to admit that I am getting a little bored with my dinners right now. I did get my new 30 minute cookbook but have had no time to sit down and actually prepare a grocery list to get what I need, so I have been feasting on the basics that I don't really have to think about. Hubby and I both are becoming less than thrilled with asparagus and chicken almost every night.
Going to try to spice it up in that department so we don't begin to backslide. BTW, my husband gave up drinking years ago, but would still enjoy a NA beer...is this allowed? Are there any NA wines?
Final Phase One results............... 7.5 lbs!!!!!

Great job on the weight loss!!
I started phase 2 today as well. I love cereal and was so happy to wake up to a bowl of cereal this morning! My weight loss for phase 1 was about 9 pounds. YAY! Go us.
I agree that this board was a huge help. I have the book but, the information on this board is much more thorough. Thanks ladies.
Good Job!
Hi there, I just started Phase 2 today and my husband has also been a bit bored with his dinner options. So, this week, I am starting a different strategy. He loves sauce! So, yesterday I made a few of the sauces from the cookbook that sounded great; like the red pepper cream sauce, chimicurra sauce, and pesto. Now, all that I need to do when I get home from work is to grill some fish or chicken and then serve it with one of the sauces. I did that Saturday night and it worked like a charm - he loved the dinner. The great thing about this strategy is that he gets to have his sauce, which I can also have if I choose. BUT, I don't have to have the sauce (I like grilled fish just with a splash of lemon).
I also made the stuffed chicken breast with spinach and goat cheese last night and it was awesome, although I added a bit of fresh tarragon to the goat cheese (not in the recipe). I can't remember which cookbook that recipe is in...?
Paula..... 7.5 down :-} and 17.5 to go :-{
Congratulations on reaching phase 2! I'm glad to hear this board is helping you!
It's also great that you're learning that variety of foods is something that will keep your interest and help you stay on track.
Continued good luck!
