I am wondering if I should go on to 3 grains and 1 additional fruit per day? I am currently eating 2 grains and 1 fruit per day. I have not lost any weight since starting Phase 2 (which is frustrating) and this is my 3rd week on phase 2, so I want to make sure that I should move on further. I did not think I would stall immediately when I got off phase 1. Any information would help!

Thanks!

Emily

I lost 7 lbs. and I would like to lose 11 more pounds. I am happy with the foods associated with the SBD, it is just hard to keep going when I am not getting any results. I will start adding one additional fruit and and grain tomorrow and I will let yall know how it goes.

Starting weight: 158 (I am 5'9")
Current weight: 151
Goal Weight: 140

One suggestion that I recently read in a SB book is that you should vary the grains and fruits that you have each day if you are not losing way. In other words, if you have been eating bananas and pasta for your fruit and grain, and you haven't lost any weight, try switching to something else (like berries and brown rice).

I had read it in the Good Carbs, Good Fat book....again, just my 2 cents. BTW - I agree, you should definitely add more fruits and grains. You don't want your body to go into starvation mode.

Hi Emily,

The last 10 pounds are the hardest.
