Can someone suggest a brand of acceptable whole wheat sandwich buns?  I went grocery shopping yesterday and looked for some to have with our crockpot cheeseburgers, but didn't have luck.  It doesn't help that my 2½ year old was being very patient while I read labels!  I need something that you can find in a typical grocery store (versus a Whole Foods or somewhere like that).  Thanks!

Sorry, but the light english muffins aren't legal either. Only the 100% whole wheat are legal. And, truthfully...they're short on fiber, too.

I have found, just recently, some buns that are SBD legal.

ACK!!!!
I had the Pepperidge Farms ones too, thinking that I would just be careful of the serving size, and forgetting to be aware of the fiber. DARN. I liked those too. Guess I'll need to find the Eziekels. Would they be in WalMart frozen section? If I could ask, what are they near?
Thanks!

i just got them out of the oven..they are amazing!!..
they dint rise as much and definately have a lot more whole wheat texture than regular buns, im not sure how they would be after a few days(may get too tough) but ill freeze a few and see how that works out..

also they arnt like hamburger fluffy buns, they have a crust on the bottom layer...i like them plain!!:) ill try them out with chipotle patties and see what happens.they were pretty easy to make.
