What Do You Put in Your Oatmeal?

OK... I got such a great response on my yogurt question, I figured I'd tap the well again!
What do you like to put in your oatmeal? I am thinking of trying that as a breakfast alternative...

It does seem like alot. I often can't finish it. According to the guidelines, 1/2 cup of oatmeal equals one grain serving. If you cut it back to 1/4 cup, you can count it as half a grain serving and make it up with something else later in the day.
That may be a much better idea! Here it is 2 hours later and I still feel stuffed and miserable. Does it take some time for the body to get used to grains again? Because I feel like I could go the rest of the day without eating anything.
Do I need to look at some other grains that may not be so heavy, like crackers or something?

You should experiment and see what works best for you. Everyone's different.
I have the same thing happen to me with oatmeal. There's no way I can ever finish a 1/2 cup portion. When I have oatmeal I make only 1/4 cup. This is the only grain that affects me that way.
