Looks like your menu is getting better. Did you get 4.5 cups of veggies and 2 cups of dairy? Also, check the bread to be sure it's made of 100% whole grains and has 4 grams of fiber. It takes a while, but you'll get it!

hmm my bread IS whole grain but only has 2 g of fiber.

ont he veggies - 4.5 cups or 4.5 servings? My south beach meal is 1.5 servings of veggies... how many cups would that come out to? by the end of the day b/c I LOVE GREEN BEANS and eat a ton usually, lol, I am sure I will have had 4.5 CUPS.

My 1/2% milk is expired.... so no milk today I really don't like milk, lol, but does my vanilla pudding count? hehe

It is very hard to find bread that falls within the guidelines. There was a recent discussion all about it. Take a look here: http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-fbsouthbeach/?msg=25417.2. I've pretty much given up on bread and stick with ww pita, ww english muffins and other starches as my grain servings.

The veggie requirement is 4.5 cups. You'd have to eyeball how many veggies were in your meal. I would guess about 1/2 cup.

You are in luck with the pudding! It counts as a dairy serving! But you also have to count it toward your sweet treat calories.
