I started off doing so well with SB, then slowly went down hill. The last couple of weeks I have been doing horribly. I am now ready to get back on track, but have a question. I know it is not recomended to go back to phase 1, but should I maybe go back to the beginning of phase 2 and do 1 fruit and 1 grain then build myself back up to 3 a day? I really need to get back to this woe cause I felt so much better when I was eating right. I don't really know why I started eating like crap again, cause I really do feel yucky when I eat that way. I think I need to really rethink my relationship with food.

Thanks for your help,
Crystal

Hi Crystal,

You can start off at the beginning of phase 2 again.

The book I have had a section where it said that if you stall or start to gain in phase 2 that you can go back to phase one - is that outdated information? My mom has my book right now so I can't look at the date on it.

I would think that starting at phase 2 would have a good success rate and prob help you get back on track and maintain the diet easier than doing a really strict phase like one. ;-)

Good luck and much willpower!

Going back to phase 1 each time you 'mess up' isn't a good idea. If that were the case, we all might be in a perpetual phase 1! The only time it's recommended to go back to phase 1 is if you've REALLY strayed from the plan and might need a couple of days to detox. It's usually best just to pick up where you left off and continue from there.
