OK, so at the weigh in today, I have a 2 lb gain from last week. That stinks.

Muscle over fat, I know I know. I've been working out.

I tried on all my clothes and they fit better than they ever have - including the dress/jacket I was wearing the day I met my DH almost 6 years ago!!!

My lowest weight since my 40 lb prediabetes weight gain is 218. I want to be down there again! THat's my goal this week... to lose 3 lbs to be 218.

It's discouraging to see the scale move up when you've worked so hard, but at least you have a logical explanation with the added satisfaction of actually feeling your clothes fit better!

Keep up the great work!

Yeah if I hadn't just put aside two pairs of jeans as officially too big to wear anymore, I'd prob be more upset. And I can SEE a difference in my arms... so all in all it wasn't a bad week. I got a whole new menu for next week that I am pretty sure is going to cost me a fortune, am pretty much all but cutting out the prepackages meals... I am pretty knowledged know in what to make to stay with the diet to cook meals and my family is going to now eat what I eat, I was making it too hard cooking too many different things!!

Yeah, having a family to feed can definitely make things harder sometimes. Thankfully, my DH doesn't like casserole type things, so my dinners haven't changed too much. Our typical dinner consists of a meat & veggie side dishes. Totally SBD friendly. We also like soups which are usually SBD friendly as long as they don't have potatoes in them.

One thing I've noticed is that my kids don't even notice the difference between WW angel hair & regular spaghetti noodles. None of us seem to like any thicker WW noodles. Sorry...I was just thinking about any subs I've had to make to my regular cooking. LOL.

It's all about how your clothes fit.
