Are these legal? I mean the ones from those people who make it on a rotating spit? I am guessing that they probably are not (who knows what is in the sauce/seasoning), but I am thinking with a WW pita they may be OK?

Any thoughts??

I'm not sure about the ones that you buy from a restaurant.

Yes please. Isn't the sauce just tzaziki? That's what we usually use. But please let me know what you use!!

I make gyros with chicken. I simply marinate cubes of boneless, skinless chicken breast in a marinade of lemon juice, olive oil, garlic and oregano. I then grill the chicken and serve it with sliced tomato, onion, cucumber, tzaziki, and whole wheat pita.

Here is a recent thread with some tzasiki recipes: http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-fbsouthbeach/?msg=20996.1
