I just wonder if I'm doing this right. I'm on day 4 of Phase 2, I lost 8 lbs on Phase 1. Since starting Phase 2, I'm extremely bloated for some reason!! Why??? Here is my menu for today. Let me know if it's okay. Thanks.
Breakfast - 1 Morning Star veggie patty, 2 slices toast with PB (Arnold 100% wheat), 1 cheese stick
Lunch - Julienne Salad with Italian Dressing, Diet Coke
Snack - Dannon light n fit yogurt, some cashews
Dinner - grilled pork chops, asparagus, brussel sprouts
Snack - Fudgesicle, Banana

Congratulations on your success in phase 1!
You've started out with 2 slices of bread in your first week of phase 2.
Okay, so only one piece of bread allowed right now...what if it's a wrap or pita?
I did drink milk with my dinner, I forgot to add that. Is everything else okay? Am I eating enough?
Are soy nuts allowed?
And what about fat free, no sugar added frozen yogurt?
Thank you!!!
One of the CLs should give you the final word...
I know you can have sugar-free yogurt or ice cream, but only up to 100 calories -- which is your sweet treat limit for the day. You probably want to look at the ingredients too, just to make sure nothing "funky" is in there.
As far as wraps or pitas, check out this thread...

Good luck to you!
Right.
I get sick of the same foods easily - but I have NEVER had a problem with this on South Beach and I have been eating this way for 2.5 years. I go literally a month or more without repeating the same meal. And I never have the same snacks two days in a row.
The possibilities are endless, there is no need to eat the same thing day after day. You CAN have a sandwich for lunch - but right now it may have to be a half or in a pita so that its only one grain serving. But in a couple weeks you will be up to having 3 grain servings a day, so you can definitely have a regular sandwich.
As for the veggies, are you varying how you cook them? Or are you just sticking to salad and steamed veggies? You can roast veggies, grill them, stuff them, use them in soups/stews, use them in casseroles, season them a million ways, marinade them, make coleslaw, bean salads, use various sauces on them, etc. Again, the possibilities are endless!

Hi,
You're welcome.
Yes, I know the possibilites are endless for veggies, I guess I should elaborate and say I can't find the time to be creative and make new recipes, I rarely have time to make my lunch at night to bring to work, so that pretty much leaves me buying my lunch everyday, which is a salad from somewhere. I have a new baby, and just recently went back to work, so I'm having a hard time juggling everything right now, and we've just been making quick, easy dinners. I really haven't had time to make new recipes! I'm sure when things settle down in my life, I'll have more time to be more creative with my food!
