I don't have the $$ this week to shop like I Need.... how am I going to stick to the diet when I can barely cover juice, diapers and stuff for the kids?!?!? Ah (it was a SLOW week lsat week at work so it trickles blech)

I have things on the menu like chili (which makes about 4 meals) and a pot of beans (which the kids will eat some for EVERY meal) and other casserole many meal type things but fresh fruit and veggies are way out of the budget this week. UGH!

Don't you just hate those weeks? My only real suggestion is frozen veggies. I've been converted! I love frozen broccoli (pretty cheap, almost always cheaper than fresh) and cauliflower, straight from the freezer and roasted. The veggie mixes are good too, but might be more expensive.

Good luck!

I think you're on the right track with chili, etc. A big pot of soup is also

I just hate weeks like that...

All you can do is buy what you are able and make the best choices for meals out of that. I think making chili etc is a great idea.

take care,
