No, no, no. After reading the side effects, and the fact that they suggest wearing dark pants and bringing a change of clothes with you, no. What they describe sounds so unbelievably awful, and you have to remember that's their flowery advertising way of putting it.

To me, it just sounds like Antibuse, that drug they give alcoholics to make them violently ill should they happen to drink while on it. Alli makes the consequences of eating fats so godawful, you'll never want to touch a cheeseburger again. If you can limit yourself to the recommended 15 g fat per meal, I don't think you even need Alli. I certainly wouldn't want to risk needing a change of clothes, if I have to eat in such a careful & restricted way anyway!!

Not in a million years. I just don't understand - many, many people successfully lose weight naturally with NO negative side effects. That's what I did, and if I can - trust me, anyone can.

For me it was all about IMPROVING my health - things with those type of side effects are not an improvement to your health.

I was actually reading the ad the other night in one of my magazines ("Cooking Light"?) and snorted so loud I woke my DH up, who of course wanted to know what was so funny. I think it was "gas with oily discharge" that did it for me... ;-) Bleah!

Eewww . . . did the magazine article really say "gas with oily discharge?"

I will honestly say, eating healthier and exercising on SB is so much more appealing!

Years ago, my doctor put me on Xenical (I think that was the name of it). Sounds very similar. It SUCKED. Pains... occasional discharge... I never had to change clothes or anything. The worst part? I didn't lose one pound.
