Puffins?

I probably know the answer to this, but am going to ask anyways....
Cinnamon Puffins is a cereal made out of Corn bran, not whole wheat. However, it meets the cereal guidelines of 6 g. fiber in a 30g serving and only 6 g. of sugars. It is only 100 cal and 1 g. fat. Plus, my dh is allergic to tree nuts and Fiber One Honey Clusters has traces of nuts in it, which means I can't have it in my house.
Would the Puffins be OK even though it is corn?
I figure the answer is probably no, but am asking hopefully anyways...
TIA,
Amy

Hi Amy,
This cereal meets the guidelines. 2/3 cup is a grain serving. Enjoy!
See? It pays to ask sometimes. LOL :)
That is awesome. Thanks for the quick reply, Cathy!

Train up a child according to his bent...
Since it meets the fiber guidelines it will be slowly digested and shouldn't cause blood sugar spikes. Whenever trying a new product you should always monitor for cravings.
You're welcome!
Huh...I never had that problem.
The cinnamon flavor is usually crunchy and tastes great with skim milk mixed with a dash of lt vanilla soymilk. Plus, 1 serving is 1 grain. I noticed that with Fiber One with Honey Clusters the serving size is 56g so that is already 2 servings...
But, I will have to see whether I get cravings or not. That will be the big ??
