Need a phase 2 revamp - get strict!!!

Okay, I think I've gotten a bit lax the past couple weeks... I'm still losing, clothes fitting better... but for August I want to start fresh(er) and revamp some things.

So, few questions!!

grain serving is 30 g right?
What is the recommended fat intake?
Calorie guidelines??

4.5 cups veggies...

What exactly makes a fruit serving??

Where I am now should be
Lean meats (how many servings? what is a serving size??)
Nuts - 1 serving which is 15-20 or so nuts right? (I eat cashews)
Eggs - I got egg beaters & LOVE them so I can do the 7 a week regardless of if more is ok.
Water - I do about 40-50 ounces a day
Sugar - some things we eat have sugar in them... how many grams a day? Should I be striving for NONE? or less than 10??

Should I eat at 2 grain and 3 fruit servings, 1 dairy or 3 grains, 3 fruit and 2 dairy???

We look for foods that have no sugar added (like canned tomatoes, beans, etc.) Some things like salad dressing should have 3g per ounce or less. Breads will have sugar - it doesn't matter, just follow the bread guidelines.


Should I eat at 2 grain and 3 fruit servings, 1 dairy or 3 grains, 3 fruit and 2 dairy??? HUH? You should have 3 fruits, 3 grains, and 2-3 cups of dairy daily on Phase 2.

Karen, the HUH? made me LOL!! I knew I didn't have it right!! 2-3 CUPS of dairy!!!

I think I"ve been doing closer to 4 grain and only 2 fruit. I can balance that back out easily enough.

I am going to print and read the links when the kids are in bed tonight.
