Bathing Suit Woes!!

Groooooooooooooooooan.
I found a bathing suit. A wonderful, nonlumpy, classy, all boobage tucked in one piece but yuck! It's $50 and that's at half price!!
I'm going back to see if MAYBE they've been marked down any more... I only have about $30-$35 to spend responsibly... but wow, I loved this bathing suit. Can't say I thought I'd say that at 210 lbs - or ever if you'd have asked me 6 months ago!!
A nice new bathing suit is the final Caribbean cruise piece to be done and ready to go!!!

Glad you found one you like...
If it turns out you have to buy it, keep checking back at the store. Most stores will give you an adjustment if something you buy goes on sale within a certain period of time (usually 2 weeks).
Ok, the $50 one was gone but I bought its sibling for $40... ;-) Me likey!!!
and
I also got two more bras. ;-)

Jennie,
Are you really 210 lbs? You don't look it!
I really like the suit. I like one-piece suits a lot. Have fun on your cruise!

Yep, and 210 is prob a generously low weight - I used my mom's scale which I've not ever used before - but did it twice and 210 each time is what it registered.
I am 5'8 and very very adept at flattering clothing styles!! lol
I will be in a size 12 and really thin actually if I hit my goal weight of 180 - which actually still puts me overweight according to BMI!

I'm so jealous! I'm about an inch taller than you and currently around 182, but I swear you look better than I do! The more weight I lose, the more I realize just how small boned I am.
Anyways, I think you look great! I love a good bargain!

The same thing happened to me. I never, ever would have guessed I had such a small frame hiding under all that! I think that is why I ended up sailing down to 15lbs below my original goal weight!

Very cute!
Funny story on expensive bathing suits...I've NEVER bought an expensive bathing suit. I usually get them at like Target for $25. Well this year I found a really cool style - its a one piece but with bikini cut-outs, so it looks like a bikini from the back and side but has a strip of fabric connecting the front and covering the belly button area (I have too much sagging skin and stretch marks to ever wear a true bikini no matter how small I am!) So I was THRILLED to find this and it looked perfect on me. It was a Billabong suit though, so it was $85. Ouch. But I figured it was "higher quality", it would last longer, it looked good - I'll splurge. Well, the plastic clasp holding the top together on the back broke the FIRST day I wore it. At the pool. In the water. Not fun. I was SO mad. My first ever expensive "splurge" bathing suit and it broke day one.
So I ended up finding one the same style on line at Target for $24. It ties in the back instead of clasp, so it can't break. Been wearing that one for 2 months now.
